Health and Wellbeing
On Wednesday 28th November we held our first ASPIRE day. Called "Let's Get Cultural," the Health and Wellbeing team set out to give the children a day of amazing cultural experiences. One of the highlights was our Multicultural Market, during which children took part in amazing activities including Tai Chi and Japanese Origami. Please have a look at the photos.
In November we marked the 100 years rememberance celebrations through a whole school assembly and various activities including our whole school poppy photograph. All of the children made a poppy which were displayed in the school hall. We have also made poppies for the Bramhall Methodist Church that contributed to an increadible memorial installation.
Nevill Road Juniors have swept the board bringing away 8 trophies in total, at the Stockport School's 'Going for Gold' awards 2018. We have also been crowned the winning school of the Go for Gold Challenge and recently won the Stockport School's Award for commitment to PE and Sport. The school was also a finalist in the Greater Manchester Sports Awards. We are increadibly proud of these achievements and would like to say a huge thank you to the staff, parents and all the chidlren who have made this possible.
