Newsletter week beginning 24/11/14

Dear Parents/Carers,

School Dinners 24th-28th November
Please remember that we will have no kitchen facilities this week so it is vital that any child who brings a packed lunch from home remembers it – we will be unable to provide an alternative and will have to contact parents to bring something in for your child to eat.

Key103 Mission Christmas
After last year’s success we are once again supporting the Key103 Mission Christmas. It helps Santa provide gifts for children in the Manchester area who are living in poverty. So if you can help Santa make Christmas special we ask you to buy one extra present this year. It has to be a new and unwrapped gift suitable for babies, toddlers, children or teenagers. You can drop off your gift here at school between now and December 15th.
Many thanks for supporting this worthy local charity.

Lost scooter
One of our Year 4’s scooter has disappeared from the bike racks between the Infants and the Juniors.
It is white with a union jack and a “J” on it. If you have taken it by mistake please return it back to the racks at the earliest opportunity. Thank you.

New bike racks
There are now bike racks available for Years 5 and 6 where the old mobiles used to be. These can be used from now onwards.

Good as New Uniform Sale
Friends will once again be holding a Good as New Uniform Sale at the Christmas Fair. A box is in the Reception area – all donations are welcome. Thank you.

Mrs Aarons
The news from the Infant school is that Mrs Aarons is retiring at the end of this term. As she works part-time her final day will be Wednesday 17th December. I am sure that many parents will want to pass on their best wishes to her.
