Newsletter week beginning 23/06/2014

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you will know, we were visited by a team of Ofsted inspectors last Wednesday and Thursday. It will be about 3 weeks before we receive the final report and grade, however I was very pleased with the way the days went. The children were an absolute credit to you and to the school, with fantastic behaviour and a great attitude towards their learning. They spoke confidently and eloquently to the inspectors on the playground, in lessons and in a meeting as representatives of the school. Thank you to those parents who also spoke to members of the inspection team and were able to complete the online questionnaire. I do understand that there were some issues with accessing this and I have passed those concerns on.
I look forward to receiving the report and working with you and your children to continue in moving the school forward.

The following children were presented with certificates in assembly this morning:

Y6H – Lawrence for working carefully and precisely in Maths when measuring angles.
