Morning Entrance
Please could I remind parents that children should not be coming into school at the start of the school day through the main entrance before 9 am. If they do they will be marked in as late. They should be using the doors on their corridors or the mobile classroom. These doors are kept open until 9 am and are manned by a member of staff. This is to help ease congestion in the office area. Only after these doors are closed should the main entrance be used.

Year 3 and 4 Tennis Tournament
Last Wednesday some Year 3 and 4 children attended Bramhall Lane Tennis Club for an inter schools tennis tournament. Mrs Clarke and Mr Black were extremely proud of their performance and came back saying they played well. They showed good sportsmanship and represented the school really well. Well done to all the children that took part.

Glaramara – Year 6 Residential Visit
Outstanding amounts are due by Friday, 27th May for the Year 6 Residential Trip on Wednesday, 13th July to Friday, 15th July. Information booklets with a kit list and further details will be sent out in the next half term.

Just a reminder that children should not be playing with footballs on the playground before and after school. Last week I received a complaint from a parent who had a young child that was nearly hit by a ball.

Dinner Monies
We are currently owed £1700 in dinner monies. Individual slips were sent home last night with amounts owed. Could you please ensure that these arrears are cleared before Thursday morning.

Attendance and office times
Please remember that school starts at 8:50am with registers closing at 9am. Any child who arrives after 9am will have that session marked as an “unauthorised absence” and this WILL impact on their overall attendance figure for the term. The office staff work from 8:30am until 4pm (3:30pm on a Friday) and there is an answerphone at all other times so that you can leave a message regarding any absences.

Leave of Absence
Please remember that any requests for leave of absence should be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the start date. Leave of absence will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.
