Sporting achievements
The school football team play at home against St. Peter’s last Tuesday. Despite a strong second half performance, including a stunning goal by Charlie, the final result was St Peter’s 2 Nevill Road 1. Everyone played well and tried extremely hard. Well done.
The boys who took part in this year’s cross-country league have performed incredibly well. Finley, Thomas and Robert earned an endurance medal for attending a minimum of 5 races; the team – including Harry – finished 4th in the league; and Finley has been chosen to run for Stockport’s team in the Manchester area league on 19th March. All this for the first time of entering a team! Well done boys.

You can download the app by searching for ‘Nevill Road Schools’ and download the app that displays our school logo. When downloading it is important that you select ‘Yes’ for all options in particular push notifications.

Attendance and office times
Please remember that school starts at 8:50am with registers closing at 9am. Any child who arrives after 9am will have that session marked as an “unauthorised absence” and this WILL impact on their overall attendance figure for the term. The office staff work from 8:30am until 4pm (3:30pm on a Friday) and there is an answerphone at all other times so that you can leave a message regarding any absences.

Leave of Absence
Please remember that any requests for leave of absence should be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the start date. Leave of absence will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.

Car Park Safety
Please take care when moving through the school car parks and be aware of the cars around you. There have been several instances of staff and visitors’ cars being scratched or damaged in some way. Thank you.
