They now go on to represent Stockport, along with the winning school, at the Greater Manchester School Games on Tuesday 15th March at Sport City. All the children received a certificate in yesterday’s assembly, with Robert gaining an additional award for “determination”. The team was comprised of: Carla, Freya, Olivia, Robert, AJ and Will.

Congratulations also go to Finley (Y6W) for coming 2nd out of 124 children in the Stockport Cross-Country leagues. School Uniform
The web address for school uniform has now changed to:

Could you please return registration forms by the end of this week. If we do not have a registration form for your child, they will be unable to attend the course. If you would like another copy, please collect from the school office.

Year 5 play
Due to being closed for Easter and having parents’ evenings on Tuesday 29th and Thursday 31st March, the Year 5 play will be performed on Tuesday 19th April. Further details to follow.

Nevill Road App
If you have a smart phone please download the Nevill Road app from the App Store. In our bid to improve communication with parents we have brought in the app and will be using this as the major source of communication. We will be able to send reminders and updates to your phone via the app and we feel it will be a very effective tool.
I will continue to send paper copies of the newsletter out until the Easter break but will not send them beyond this point unless you let the office know that you still require one by emailing
The app will get information straight to you, allow you to quickly add important dates to your calendar and allow you to receive updates/ snow information etc. It is also helping us to reduce our impact on the environment.
