Parent Newsletter 12 – Spring Term 2018
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you all for your patience and understanding with regards to the school closure on Friday.
Last week brought some of the coldest weather we have experienced for some years but it didn’t stop the children from having lots of fun in the snow as you can see….
Activities to raise money for Sport Relief will take place during the week of Monday 19th March. These will be led by the School Council and Sports Ambassadors. Remember to come in sports clothes on Friday 23rd March and bring £1.00 as a donation.
Once again we ask that parents please consider the safety of the children when dropping off. Operation Eagle Eye will be coming in to work with both schools to educate the children further in road safety. As part of the scheme, Y6 children will be doing a ‘Speed watch’ at the beginning and end of the day.
World Book Week
Our theme for World Book Week has been fairy tales. Some traditional and some with a twist. After having to postpone the day it was wonderful to see so many children dressed up as their favourite book characters. Thank you to those of you who were able to share a story with your children’s classes.
